While In Hawaii I had the opportunity to visit one of our farms. These anthirium are so spectacular that I couldn't stop taking pictures of them. I was amazed at the cleanliness of the growing areas as well. So dedicated to the perfection of quality.

Taking a quick trip to Canada Friday and Saturday to visit Rosaflora Farm.
This farm grows the most amazing gerbera daisies, snapdragons and mini callas.

This is one of the programs that i helped design for. It was call Botanical Art and was presented by a European designer, Jo Jarvis. It was an awesome experience putting these window display pieces together. After the program they were moved to the attached mall where they will be on display with other sculptures and art in the central feaure at the shopping center for 30 days.

This floral event is about networking, meeting growers and suppliers from all over the world, finding out what is new in our everchanging industry, from fresh flowers to new ribbons and corsage pins. What an incredible week. I thought that the holidays were over! I didn't realize just how many people get married every weekend. The flower turnover rate at Potomac was fast and furious. We were so busy the owners of the company bought lunch for everyone every day this past week. How awsome is that?
It is amazing how turmoil in Thailand can affect the entire floral world.... we love their orchids..... until we can't get all we need from them. We overcame by finding new resources and growers to supply the demand. Great job buyers!!
